PITTOSPORUM BED

At the grainstore we always strive to ensure that every area is to its full potential, this is why we are constantly planting new areas. As the hill on the side of the grainstore has been looking bare compared to everywhere else around the garden we decided to plant pittosporums, we chose pittosporums as going into winter a lot of the surrounding plants will lose their leaves which will leave the grainstore with a lack of colour. But because pittosporums are evergreen shrubs they will hold their leaves over winter, to keep different colours all year round we decided to go with variegated forms of pittosporum called Pittosporum tenuifolium ‘Bannow Bay’.Pittosporum tenuifolium ‘Tom Thumb’ and Pittosporum tenuifolium ‘Elizabeth’. As these pittosporums grow they will be excellent to cut into shapes and will give the surrounding area an even better look.
